During Sankashti Ganesh Chaturthi fast today i.e. during the worship of Ganapati it is necessary to hear the story of Sankashti Ganesh Chaturthi fast. There are three stories of Sakat Chauth. Let us know which are those three stories.

First story of Ganesh Chaturthi Fast

At one time preparations were going on for the marriage of Lord Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi, all the deities were invited in it but the invitation was not sent to Vighnaharta Ganesh ji. All the gods came to the marriage with their wives but Ganesh ji was not present, seeing that the gods asked Lord Vishnu the reason for this. He said that he has sent invitations to Lord Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha can come with his parents. However, they need a meal of one and a half moong, a quarter of a mana rice, a quarter of a mana of ghee and a quarter of a mana ladoo in the day. It is good if they do not come. It is not good to go to another's house and drink so much food.

During this time, some deity said that if Ganesh ji comes, he can be given the responsibility of maintaining the house. They can be told that if you go slowly on the rat, then the barrage will go forward and you will be left behind, in such a situation, you should take care of the house. According to the plan, Ganesh ji appeared there at the invitation of Vishnu. He was given the responsibility of maintaining the house. When the procession left the house and Ganeshji was sitting at the door, seeing that Narada ji asked the reason for this, he said that Lord Vishnu has insulted him. Then Narada ji gave a suggestion to Ganesha.

Ganapati, under suggestion, sent his army of rats to the procession, which dug all the way. As a result, the wheels of the chariots of the gods got stuck in the paths. The procession was not able to go ahead. No one was able to understand what to do, then Narada Ji gave a solution to call Ganesha so that the disturbances of the gods would be removed. Nandi brought Gajanan on the orders of Lord Shiva. The gods worshiped Ganesha, when the wheels of the chariot went out of the pits, but many wheels were broken.

At that time a blacksmith working nearby, he was called. Before starting his work, he remembered the mind of Ganesha and fixed the wheels of all the chariots. He told the gods that it seems that all of you have not worshiped Vighnaharta Ganesh Ji before starting the auspicious work, then only such a crisis has come. Go ahead by meditating on Ganesha, all your work will be done. The gods shouted Ganesh ji and the procession reached its destination safely. The marriage of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi was completed.

Second Story of Ganesh Chaturthi Fast

One day Mata Parvati was sitting with Lord Shiva on the banks of the river. He wished to play Chopra, but there was no third other than him to decide the victory in the game. In such a situation, Goddess Parvati and Shiva ji burnt into an earthen idol and gave her the role of decider. In the game, Mata Parvati won three to four consecutive times, but once the child accidentally defeated Mata Parvati and declared Lord Shiva victorious. Parvati became angry with him.

Angry Parvati ji made her child lame. He apologized to Mata, but he said that the curse can no longer be withdrawn, but there is a solution. On the day of Sankashti, some girls come here to worship, ask them to fast and the method of worship. You too fast and worship likewise. She did the same as told by Mata Parvati. Pleased with his worship, Lord Ganesha removes his troubles.

That day was the day of Sankashti Chaturthi. The mother of that child was upset for her son. He prayed to Ganesh ji for the skill of the son. On the second day, when the potter woke up in the morning, his dishes were cooked in Anwa, but the hair of the children was not deterred. He got scared and went to the king's court and told the whole incident.
