Hanuman Balaji temple

Hanuman Balaji temple is located in vivek vihar area of Delhi. The construction work for this temple was started on 10-04-1998. At present, this temple is fully established. This temple is known for very intricate carvings done on silver and white marble to form the idols and pictures. This beautification process is a continuous process to enhance the beauty of the temple and a number of famous and renowned artists are contributing in this. A very high quality Rajasthani white stone is used in the construction of temple.

The temple complex is spreaded across 12000 sq ft. It is believed that the construction costs estimated about 15 crores of Indian rupees. The walls of the area surrounding the main idol of the diety have depictions from the verses of Hanuman Chalisa. A large number of devotees throng the temple every tuesday and pray for the fulfillment of their wishes.

The temple is decorated with beautiful flowers and lights on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti. A very beautiful lawn is formed using the sacred and pure Tulsi plants.

The temple has a fully erected idol of Lord Hanuman made of pure silver which weights 40kg. This idol is incomparable and there is no such idol anywhere in the world.

The idol was crafted by renowned artist Sh. Rajender Kumar in the year 2000 in varanasi and then the idol was installed in the temple on 16-06-2000. The idol always encourages the devotees to remain humble and down to earth. Everyday the idol is offered milk, cred, ghee, honey, coconut, rice and flowers and it takes about 1 hr of time. It is believed that by offering these to Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva also becomes happy and shower His blessings on the devotees and fulfills all their desires. It happens because Lord Hanuman  is believed to be Rudra Avataar of Lord Shiva.  This is the only place where the Lord Hanuman is offered these offerings. At rest of the places,  the diety is always covered with a cloth(chola).

This temple is also famous for the reason that medicine for stone treatment is given in this temple on every sunday, monday, tuesday (6.00 am to 7.00 am) and people come from many states to get relief from the stone problems.
