The Neelsaraswati Stotra is recited to invoke success in one's educational pursuits. Students who aspire to pursue higher education in their desired institutions or wish to study abroad can greatly benefit from chanting this mantra.

Furthermore, the Neelsaraswati Stotra is a powerful tool for removing obstacles and impediments in one's educational path. Beyond that, this mantra can also be recited to enhance memory and stimulate creativity. Students who seek financial assistance, such as scholarships, study grants, or educational loans, can pray to Goddess Neela Saraswati.

Neel Saraswati, also known as Blue Saraswati, represents a fierce form of Tara Devi. Tara, often referred to as Bhava Tarini, is the goddess who guides individuals across the ocean of life. According to Yogini Tantra, Tara is synonymous with Kali, the embodiment of supreme love, and she is also associated with Kamakhya. Within Tantric literature, three manifestations of Tara are mentioned:

  • Eka Jatak, who grants Kaivalya, unity with the Absolute.
  • Ugra Tara, the one who provides relief from unforeseen and severe miseries.
  • Nila Saraswati, imparting knowledge (Jnan).

Devotees of the Tara cult aim to realize the Purushartha goals of dharma, artha, kama, and moksha. Tara remains separate from Maya or the material world because she is the creator of it. Initially, she provides worldly pleasures (bhoga) and eventually leads seekers to liberation (moksha). Tara is always accompanied by eight Yoginis: Mahakali, Rudrani, Ugra, Bhima, Ghira, Bhramari, Maharatri, and Bhairavi, each contributing to her divine presence and significance.
