If you are planning to visit Shri Amarnath ji this year. So before going on the journey, it is very important for all of you to know the things mentioned in this Article.
The date of the yatra is first announced by the Shree Amarnathji Shrine Board as to when the yatra is going to start and how long the yatra will last. Based on the experience of previous years, the date of travel is fixed by the Shrine Board till the second or third week of January.
Then the next step is to get your medical done for the journey. Based on the experience of previous years, medical practice starts from February 15 onwards. To get medical, a list of hospitals of all cities is available. You can get your medical done from those hospitals. It must be remembered that you can get your medical done only after the list of hospital in your city comes.

The third step is to get yourself registered for the journey. Registrations for travel start from the first week of March based on the experience of previous years. The list of the bank comes out for registration. You can check the name of the bank of your city by visiting the website of the Shrine Board. You can get your registration done only after the list of the bank.
The journey of Shri Amarnath ji starts from the last week of June or the first week of July every year and ends on the day of Raksha Bandhan festival.
