Garden of five senses is one of the famous tourist spot in Delhi. The Garden is located in Said-ul-Azaib village, South Delhi close to the Mehrauli heritage area. It is built on 20.5 acres with plain and little hillock area, structure with concrete and plenty of flowers. It is not just a park; it is a space with a variety of activities for public interaction and exploration. It is a joint effort of the Delhi Tourism and the Transport department. The Garden was inaugurated in February 2003.The park was inaugurated by the Minister for Tourism, Art, Culture and Language “Kapil Mishra”, in presence of other officers of Government of Delhi.

Beautifully-lit fountains, floral shrubs around the Color Gardens, Gushing waterfalls Khas Bagh or the spiral-shaped pathway, Mughal-style Garden, An Amphitheatre with seating of sandstone, Food court with terrace-style seating arrangements, Stone- crafted elephant troop, Stylish sculpture made up of stainless steel, Shopping area, Bell tree with wind chimes, Neel Bagh (A pool with lilies), An exhibition space with Specimen Plants on display are some of the main attractions of the garden. This garden is divided into separate regions. On one side of the spiral path lies the KhasBagh. This garden was built to resemble the Mughal Garden. A string of fountains placed at the center. On the other side there are shopping and food courts.

The Garden has been designed to the imagery suggested by the name Garden of Five Senses. Color, fragrances, texture and form all come together in an evocative bouquet that awakens the mind to the beauty of life and invokes a grateful prayer for the gift of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste.The garden serves as one of the prominent cultural venues of the capital, as programs and events are organized here round the year. The Garden tourism festival (February), food festivals, different melas, Dandiya festivals and other cultural programs are held here at different times.
