This Dham is situated in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, Bhowali area. This temple is located 17 kilometers from Nainital and is a holy place on the path of Nainital and Ranikhet.

This place has no relation with the scissor. It is situated between two hills which crosses each other to make a scissor shape. This is why this place is called 'Kainchi Dham'. Now this place is famous among the local people and tourists by the name of famous Shri Neem Karoli Baba ashram kainchi Dham.

Hundreds of people visit to the temple everyday in this holy place. In the months of May to July, these numbers are almost double. It is celebrated every year on June 15 as the foundation day of this Dham and every year Bhandara is organized. Millions of people come to this place on this day.

No offerings of prasad or flowers are allowed in the temple. Full attention is given by the ashram for the cleanliness of the temple. Aarti is done in the temple morning and evening. At the time of Aarti, the spiritual atmosphere of the temple becomes calm and divine.

In this temple lakhs of people visit the temple from India, but people from abroad also come. In 1970, Steve Jobs, who was the former CEO of Apple Company, came to this place once and Mark Zuckerberg, who is the CEO of Facebook, came to this place.
