Auspicious Timings (Muhurat):

  • Ekadashi Tithi Begins: January 28, 2026, at 04:35 PM.

  • Ekadashi Tithi Ends: January 29, 2026, at 01:55 PM.

  • Observation: In Hinduism, the Udayatithi (the tithi prevailing at sunrise) is given priority; therefore, the fast will be observed tomorrow, January 29.

  • Parana Time (Breaking the Fast): January 30, between 07:10 AM and 09:20 AM.

The Padma Purana mentions that the influence of this fast destroys sins committed unknowingly and grants merit equivalent to performing the Ashwamedha Yajna.
