Nainital is popular and famous tourist hill station in Uttarakhand. located in the Kumaon region and is popularly known as the Lake District of India. It is 281 kms from Delhi. Which was discovered by Lord Barron, a Britisher in 1841. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It distance of approx 281 km from the national capital of New Delhi. Nainital is named for its beautiful lake Naini and it is the base for tourism at here. This lake is called Naini because it looks like eye shape. This Lake is famed among the visitors, tourists and nature lovers for yachting and boating.
