Chota Haridwar is a religious place located at NH 34, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Chota Haridwar has no mythological history but its religious significance is increasing in some years. Chota Haridwar has been built on the banks of Ganganahar. Haridwar is called Mukati Dham, but there is nothing like this in Chota Haridwar. This place has been made like Haridwar. In the evening on the banks of Ganganahar, the Aarti of Ganga goes as if it is done on Haridwar. The water coming to Ganganahar on Chota Haridwar comes from the Ganges only. Ganganahar was built by man, whose water is used for cultivation, etc.

The history here is not something special. At this time, Khachdo ji Maharaj used to worship on the bank of the Gang Canal. His samadhi too has been made here. The work of monitoring this place is done by Radha Rani Seva Samiti, Ghaziabad.
