Śrīnāradā uvāca

anāyāsēna lōkōyam sarvāna kāmānavāpanuyat |
Sarvadēvatkama caikama tanmē brōhi pitāmaha ||1||

Brahmavāca

śruṇu dēva munē'śvatm śud'dham sarvatkama taram |
Yatpradakṣintō lōkaḥ sarvāṁ kāmāna samaśānutēm ||2||

Aśvat'thādakṣiṇē rudraḥ paścimē viṣṇurasthiḥ |
Brahmā cōttaradēśastha purvētvindradēvatāḥ ||3||

Skandhōpaskandhapatarēṣu gōvipramunayasthathā |
Mūlaṁ vēda: Pāyō yajña: Sansthitā munipuṅgava ||4||

Pūrvādidikṣu sann'yātā nāḍīnādasarōbdhyāyā |
Tasmāt sarvaprayatnēna hyaśvat'thām sansārēdbudhaḥ ||5||

Tvaṁ kṣyarphālakaścava śītalasya vanaspatē |
Tvamārādhyā narō vindyādaihikāmamuṣmikaṁ phalam ||6||

Cāladdalaya vr̥kṣāya sarvadāśritaviṣṇavē |
Bōdhisatvāya dēvāya hyasvat'thāya namō namaḥ ||7||

Aśvat'thā yasmāt tvayi vr̥kṣarāja nārāyaṇastiṣṭhati sarvakālē | 
Artha: Śrutastvaṁ satāṁ tarunāṁ dhan'yōsi cāriṣṭavināśakōsi  ||8||

Kṣīradastavam ca yēnēha yēnā sr̥ṣṭvam niśēvatē |
Satyēna tēna vr̥kṣēndra māmapi śrīniṣēvatam ||9||

Ēkādaśātmarudrōsī vasunāthaśirōmaṇiḥ |
Nārāyaṇōcā dēva, vr̥kṣarājācā pippala ||10||

Agnigarbha śamīgarbha dēvagarbha prajāpatiḥ |
Hiraṇyagarbhō bhūgarbhō yajñanagarabhō namōstu tē ||11||

Āyurbalam yaśō varacāḥ prajāḥ paśuvasuni ca |
Brahma prajñāna ca mēdhāṁ ca tvam nō dēhi vanaspatē ||12||

Satēṁ tē rakṣēt tvamārādadr̥ṣṭirāśrayēta |
Paritastvaṁ niśēvantā trināni sukhamastu tē ||13||

Akṣisaspandaṁ bhujaspandama dusvapanaṁ durvicintanam ​ |
Śāstrīnāma ca samut'thānam hyaśvat'tha śamaya prabhō ||14||

Aśvat'thāya varēṇyē sarvaiśvaryā pradāyinē |
Namō, duḥsvapnān̄cā nāśa karaṇārā, śubha svapnān̄cā phala dēṇārā ||15||

Muḷāta brahmarūpāyā, madhyathā viṣṇurupāyā |
Vr̥kṣān̄cyā rājālā śivarūpāta āgarata: Namaḥ ||16||

Yama dr̥ṣṭī mucyatē rōgaiḥ spr̥ṣṭvā pāpaiḥ pramucyatē |
Yadāśrayacchiran̄jīvī tamaśvat'thāṁ namāmyaham ||17||

Aśvatha sumahābhāgā subhāgā priyadarśana |
Iṣṭakāmanśca madhyē dēhi śatrubhyastu parājayam ||18||

Āyu: Prajām dhanam dhan'yam saubhāgyam sarvasampadam |
Dēhī dēva mahāvr̥kṣa tvamahaṁ śaraṇam gataḥ ||19||

R̥g‍yajuhasammantrāt‍mā hā parama parama prāṇī āhē |
Aśvat'thō vēdamūlōsāvr̥ṣibhi prōcyatē sadā ||20||

Brahmahā guruhā caivā daridrō vyādhipīḍitaḥ |
Avr̥tya lakṣasaṅkhyaṁ tata stōtramēta sukhī bhavēta ||21||

Brahmacārī haviṣyāśī tvadahaśāyī jitēndriyaḥ |
Pāpōpahatacittōpi vratamētata vārtā ||22||

Ēkahastaṁ dvihastaṁ vā kuryādgōmayalēpaṇam |
Arcēta puruṣasuktēna praṇāvēṁ viśēṣē ||23||

Mauni pradakṣiṇāṁ kuryāt prāguktaphala bhagavat |
Viṣṇōrṇam sahasrēṇa hyacyutasyāpi kīrtanāt ||24||

Paḍē padāntarama gatvā karcēṣṭavivirjitaḥ |
Vāca stōtraṁ manō dhyānē caturaṅgam pradakṣiṇām ||25||

Aśvat'tha sthānatō yēna tatkulaṁ sthānam tataḥ |
Dhanayuṣāṁ samardistu narakāta tārēta pitr̥n ||26||

Aśvat'thamūlamāśritya śakannōdakadanāthā |
Ēkasmin bhōjitē viprē kōṭibrāhmaṇabhōjanam ||27||

Aśvat'thamūlamāśritya japahōmasurārcanat |
Akṣayaṁ phalamāpnōti brāhmaṇō vacanaṁ yathā ||28||

Ēvamāśvāsitō̕śvattaha sadāśvāsāya kalpatē |
Yajñārtham cēditēśvatē hyakṣayaṁ svargamāpnuyāta ||29||

Chinnō yēna vr̥thāśśvat'thāścēditā pitr̥dēvatāḥ.
Aśvat'thācī pūjā yātrēnē sarva dēvān̄cī pūjā kēlī. 30.
