Located inside the peaceful premises of the Doodadhari Barfani Baba Ashram, this shrine is widely considered one of the most aesthetically beautiful and architecturally refined temples in the entire city.

The Legend of the Name: The temple and ashram are named after the revered saint, Swami Doodadhari Barfani Maharaj. Local archives state that Babaji observed an incredibly strict lifestyle of simplicity and Tapasya. He completely renounced solid food and sustained his physical body solely on milk (hence Doodh-Aahari or Doodadhari).
The Consecration: Popular belief holds that during his time here, the Siddha Baba established a sacred Shivalinga and achieved high spiritual dimensions through meditation. Following his journey, this magnificent white structure was erected to honor his memory and continue his charitable spiritual works.
A Palace-like Visual Grandeur: From a distance, the temple structure resembles a pristine white palace. Built entirely out of polished white marble, it glows vibrantly under the morning Himalayan sun.
Epic Carvings of the Ramayana: The absolute highlight of the temple is the extensive relief work and stone inlay on its walls, pillars, and structural domes. Master artisans have intricately carved out various emotional episodes, forest scenes, and battles from the epic Ramayana directly into the hard marble.

Ram-Sita and Hanuman Shrines: The core attractions are the beautifully sculpted, life-like idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Lakshmana, and Lord Hanuman. Dressed in vibrant garments and fresh garlands, they radiate immense grace.
The Shiva-Parvati Durbar: Honoring the Shaivite roots of the ashram, a dedicated space is assigned for the worship of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati.
