The Baleshwar temple is an ancient Hindu temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is located in Champawat city of Uttarakhand state of India. This temple is also known as Bleshwar. There are two other temples in the complex of Baleshwar temple, one is dedicated to "Ratneshwar" and the other is dedicated to the temple "Champawati Durga". Small and big Shiva Linga are established in this temple. The Baleshwar temple is famous for its wonderful carvings.

There is no correct information about the construction of the Baleshwar temple. It is believed that the construction of this temple was built between the 10th and the 12th centuries. This construction of this temple was done by the Chand Dynasty. Beautiful statues of gods and goddesses have been made of walls of the temple; These idols are the main attraction of this temple.

Baleshwar temple has been declared a "National Heritage Monument" in Champawat and is overseeing the Archaeological Survey of India since 1952. In the Baleshwar temple, a grand fair is organized on the day of Mahashivaratri, in which a large number of people come.
