Kasar Devi is a Hindu temple located in the village of Kasar Devi in ​​Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. The name of this temple comes in the miraculous temples of Devi Bhoomi Uttarakhand. The temple is surrounded by tall cedar trees from all sides. There is a wonderful beauty of nature all around the temple.

Maa Kasar Devi is considered as the form of Durga in the Kasar Devi temple. Located on the Bageshwar Highway in Almora in a village called "Kasar". This temple is situated on the top of the Kashyapa hill. Goddess Durga was revealed in Kasar Devi temple. In the temple, "Goddess Katyayani", one of the eight forms of Goddess Durga, is worshiped.

The temple has two distinct groups of temples, one of which is Devi and another is Lord Shiva and Bhairava. The main temple has a monolithic flame which keeps on burning for 24 hours over the years. It also has a havan kund, where wood logs are lit for 24 hours. The ash of the fumigant is said to be very powerful, which can cure any mental patient.

The main temple of the Goddess is located inside a cave like huge rocks. The temple can also be reached through 8 kilometers of hiking and trekking. It is believed that Swami Vivekananda came to this place for meditation in 1890 and Vivekananda had a special feeling at this place. Many Western seekers, Sanyata Baba Alfred Sorenson and Lama Anjarika Govinda. Just outside the village is a place for the ridge of the crank, which was a popular destination during the hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s, and attracts both domestic and foreign trekkers and tourists.
