Shakambhari Mata Temple holds an important place in Hinduism. Shakambhari Mata Temple is dedicated to Goddess Shankabhari. Shakambhari Mata Devi

In the temple of Shakambhari Mata, there are two idols of Goddess in the form of Brahmani and Maa Rudrani. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, both the idols of the goddess are seated on a silver throne. Both these idols are of Mahishasurmardini Devi. Both the goddesses have eight arms, in which they are wearing weapons. Both the idols of Maa are very beautiful and vermilion. Both the idols are similar, the only difference is that the idol of Maa Rudrani is made of local mud stone, while the idol of Brahmani Maa is made of marble. According to ancient facts, the mother's name was earlier Shankaradevi, which later became famous as Sakraymata and Shakambhari.

Shaktipeeth of Shakambhari Mata

Mother has three Shaktipeeths across the country. The first major one is located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, near Udaipurvati by the name of Sakraymata ji. The second is located in Sambhar district of Rajasthan. And the third place is 40 km away in Saharanpur near Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at a distance of Ancient idols of Ganpati ji, Devi Shankara ji, and Kuber ji can be seen here. There is also Jatashankar Temple, and Shri Atmamuni Ashram around the temple. The festival is organized here for 9 days during Navratri. Devotees keep pouring in this temple throughout the year.
