Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, Verse 2

yaṁ sannyāsam iti prāhur yogaṁ taṁ viddhi pāṇḍava
na hyasannyasta-saṅkalpo yogī bhavati kaśhchana

Meaning - What is known as sanyās is non-different from Yog, for none become yogis without renouncing worldly desires.
