Saurāṣṭra sōmanātha cha
śrī śailē mallikārjunama.
Ujjayin'ya mahākālam
ōṅkāram'malēśvaram.
Saurāṣṭra pradēśātīla śrī sōmanātha (kāṭhiyāvāḍa),
śrīśaila vara śrī mallikārjuna,
ujjayinī madhyē śrī mahākāla,
ōṅkārēśvara amalēśvara (amarēśvara)
paralyāma vaidyanāthana cha
ḍākinyā bhīmāśaṅkaram.
Sētubandhē tū ramēśa
nāgēśama dārukavaṇē.
Paraḷī yēthīla vaidyanātha,
ḍākinī nāvācyā ṭhikāṇī śrī bhīmaśaṅkara
pulāvarīla śrī rāmēśvara,
dārukavanātīla śrīnāgēśvara
vārāṇasya tu viśvēśam
tryambakama gautamitattē.
Himālaya tū kēdāra
ghuṣmēśa ca śivālayē.
Vārāṇasī (kāśī) yēthīla śrī viśvanātha,
gautamī (gōdāvarī) kāṭhāvara śrī tryambakēśvara,
himālayātīla śrī kēdāranātha āṇi
śivālayātīla śrī ghr̥ṣṇēśvarācē smaraṇa karāvē.
Ētāni jyōtirliṅgānī
sāyaṅkāḷacī sakāḷa paṭhēnāra.
Sāta janmācī pāpē
smaraṇa vināśyati.
The man who recites the names of these twelve Jyotirlingas every morning and evening, his sins of seven births are erased by the mere remembrance of these lingas.
Ētēṣaṁ darśanadēva pātakaṁ naiva tiṣṭhati.
Karmakṣayō bhavēttasya yasya tuṣṭō mahēśvaraḥ ॥
